Vintage Lingerie For This Week's GASP! Look What We Found!

Starting this week on SVL, we are featuring our GASP! Look What We Found!  what a beautiful find vintage lingerie nightgown. 50s Vintage Artemis Tangerine Dream Peignoir Set
Now, see what I mean? This lovely find is from Dollhouse Bettie. This breathtaker has it's original tags!
Dollhouse Bettie says, "Two fluttery layers of nylon tricot culminate into one tantalizing treat in this vintage peignoir and nightgown set! The peignoir, constructed from two equally heavenly shades of peach tricot 15 denier chiffon, features an ecru lace trimmed yoke that elegantly frames the neck and face. Vibrant coral accents peek though the delicate lace trim creating unique detailing. The classic peter pan collar features ecru lace applique and peach satin piping, two satin fabric covered buttons secure the peignoir at center front neck. The trapeze cut billows away from the body in an A-line silhouette, petite gathers add volume and detail over the bustline.

Last but not least, the dramatic, full poet sleeves gather at the elbow with cased elastic adding dramatic appeal to this eye catching design. The coordinating nightgown is composed of a soft semi opaque ivory underlayer with a floating layer of tangerine chiffon on top. Ecru lace trim accents the bust and sweetheart neckline, dainty gathers under each cup and the inset peaked waist band create the classic ballet length 50s silhouette. Self fabric piping frames the waist for a flattering belt like design, corded loop ties extend from each side seam to tie at back. The lightly gathered chiffon skirt cinches then flows away from the waist finishing off this airy delight. Original paper tags are still intact and attached to both gown and peignoir. Paper tags read, "Artemis, 2pc set, Tangerine, size 32, $24."
